Kaduna State Scholarship applications are open both for Local
and Foreign applications, meaning if you are studying in an institution in the
state or perhaps out of the country, you are eligible to apply as long as you
meet the requirements. Also, the application is open for Undergraduate
applications, Master's, and Ph.D applications.
Applications for the Kaduna State Scholarship can be made online
using the KDSG portal. Initially, the portal, known by people for the KDSG scholarship

The KDSG scholarship portal enables applicants to create an account, fill form online, upload credentials, submit applications, and check the progress of their application.
Before considering applying for the KDSG scholarship, it is
important to note that the KDSG scholarship application is only for the poor
and needy, applicants who are noted to foot their fees and other statutory
bills in school.
Below are the requirements to apply for the KDSG scholarship:
1. Tax Identification Number (TIN): Applicants are expected to
present their parents' TIN. Whether the applicant's parent earns 100 Naira, you
must present your tax Identification number. The TIN can be obtained in all local
governments across the state.
In a case where the applicant's parents are deceased, you are
expected to present your parents' death certificates.
2. Biometric Verification Number (BVN): Applicants are expected to provide their BVN or guardians' BVN from their bank
3. Applicant with properties must present their property
4. All students who began 100 level, ND1, or HND1 from January
2020 onward are encouraged to apply, even if they do not yet have any results.
5. Applicant should have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 of 5.0 or 1.6 of
4.0
6. Applicant must have one or more semesters during the application
time.
7. The applicant should not be a spill-over student.
8. Master’s students who have spent over two years and PhD
students who have exceeded four years are not eligible to apply.

5. Go to your email and verify your account
6. After verifying your account, log in to the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board
7. On your KDSG portal dashboard, select Apply for scholarship
8. You will be required to upload your passport
9. Select whether undergraduate or Postgraduate
10. Select your “student typeâ€
11. Select gender
12. Enter your names, Date of Birth, residential address, State,
13. LGA, Country, Matriculation number, BVN, Phone number

provide parents' and account information
17. Click on the continue button to proceed to step 4 to preview
your application before submission
